# PulseService

> Cached market news and sentiment feed

Package: `monaco.api.pulse`

Source: `protos/api/pulse.proto`

Use `PulseService` for the backend-cached market pulse news and sentiment feed. It is public — no auth — and serves the same snapshot as `GET /api/v1/pulse`.

## Notes

* `GetPulse` is public and takes an empty `GetPulseRequest`.
* `GetPulseResponse` carries `generated_at` (ISO 8601 UTC), `watchlist`, and `items` — each `PulseItem` has `asset` (ticker or `"MARKET"`), `sentiment` (`"Bullish"`/`"Neutral"`/`"Bearish"`), `summary`, `updated_at`, and `sources` (each `PulseSource` has `url`, `author`, `source`, `created_at`, `relevance` 1–5).
* The snapshot refreshes hourly server-side; the RPC returns `UNAVAILABLE` until the cache warms after a deploy.
