Package: monaco.api.fees Source: protos/api/fees.proto Use FeesService to simulate fees before placing an order and to look up your current fee tier.

Notes

  • Fee simulation helps estimate trading costs before order entry.
  • SimulateFeesResponse carries the tier-resolved rate in monaco_taker_fee_bps_exact and monaco_maker_rebate_bps_exact — decimal basis-points strings (e.g. "6.5", negative for a rebate) equal to the exact rate the ledger charges the caller. The integer monaco_taker_fee_bps / monaco_maker_rebate_bps, plus the flat maker_fee_bps / taker_fee_bps on TradingPairData and the account response, are deprecated: an integer cannot represent fractional tiered rates, so they echo the pre-tiered pair-level rate. Use the exact fields or GetMyFeeTier.
  • GetMyFeeTier returns the authenticated caller’s resolved fee tier (1–6), rolling 14-day weighted/spot/perp volumes, the volume needed to reach the next tier, and the requested pair’s six-row fee schedule (FeeTierScheduleRow). Fee tiers are recalculated daily from a trailing 14-day weighted volume (14d perp + 2.5 × 14d spot), summed across every application the wallet trades through. A volume floor set on the wallet raises the volume the tier resolves from, once a set or changed floor applies to the wallet’s fills, usually within a minute, and likewise for an account the wallet opens in a new application (a removed or expired floor stops counting at once); the reported volumes stay as recorded.
