Connect your wallet
Open trade.0xmonaco.com and click Connect Wallet in the top-right corner.

Pick how you want to log in. Any option works — you don’t need SEI tokens or an existing testnet setup:
MetaMask, Rabby, or Coinbase Wallet — approve the connection in the wallet popup.
Email or socials — no wallet extension needed; one gets created for you.
Privy remembers your preference. When Privy opens, it prioritizes the wallet you used most recently or use most often. The first wallet shown can therefore differ between users.

Get free test USDC
Click the droplet icon in the top-right toolbar. It has a green dot when a mint is available.

Hit Mint 2,000 USDC. Each mint deposits 1,000 USDC to your spot account and 1,000 USDC to your margin account, ready to trade instantly.

Place your first trade
Pick a market from the ticker bar or press ⌘K to search. Monaco lists crypto, stocks, commodities, and FX perpetuals, including BTC, NVDA, GOLD, and EUR.
Choose Market to fill immediately or Limit to set your price.
Pick Buy / Long or Sell / Short.
Enter a Size in the asset or USDC, or use the 25/50/75/100% slider.
Review order value, margin required, and liquidation price, then click Place Order.

Your open position appears in the Positions tab at the bottom, with live PnL, entry price, liquidation price, and a one-click Close button.

Check your portfolio
Click Portfolio in the top navigation for account equity over time, available balance, margin used, realized PnL, win rate, and your spot and margin account breakdown.

Invite friends from Compete
The Compete tab has your personal TraderCode and invite link. Share it to bring friends onto the testnet. Leaderboards and rewards are rolling out soon, so trades you make now are good practice.
